This is a new position at GTS with a tremendous opportunity for growth. This exciting position will analyze our customers' new or existing websites and create a proposal of recommendations for improving organic search engine rankings and overall targeted traffic. As proposals are approved, this position will execute against those recommendations working directly with the customer by guiding and/or directly implementing the recommended changes.

Though prior experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is not required, the ideal candidate will have a technical understanding of SEO, and should have demonstrable programming skills in one or more of the following: HTML, JavaScript, ASP, PHP, .Net.

This position requires strong communication and consulting skills, and professional services sales experience is a plus.

Required Skills:

Minimum of 1-3 years programming experience or educationStrong communication and services sales skills required.Minimum 1-3 years of experience in technology and/or technical production with Web related projectsStrong customer service orientation and the ability to form customer relationshipsAbility to successfully manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environmentEffective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required.Ability to travel up to 20%

Preferred Skills:

Minimum of 1-3 years experience in SEO and/or SEMAdvanced knowledge and analysis capabilities in the following disciplines:Keyword Research and TargetingSite Content OptimizationSite ArchitectureInternal and External LinkingSearch Engine and Directory SubmissionsTraffic Analytics and TrendingExperience using a variety of web analytical tools and creating measurement processes for conversion metrics.Experience with client and server side scripting languages as applied to SEO.Familiarity with PPC, Paid Inclusion and other SEM related programs.Prior consulting experience is a plus!
